Chuck Ross

Chuck is a retired “bush pilot”, one of those people instrumental in opening up the territory of Northern Canada. He flew uncounted hours in bush planes on wheels, skis and floats out of Yellowknife before retiring and moving south to Vernon in 1988. But it wasn’t the end of aviation by a long shot. Chuck was a flight instructor and worked at teaching young pilots for several years. He then made a decision to build his own airplane. His wife, Marion was enthusiastic with the project, and together they assembled a VAN’s RV 4. It is an ideal aerobatic aircraft, and one of the several in the RV fleet you will see flying in formation from time to time over the North Okanagan. Watch Chuck having fun in the video below.

Chuck and Marion are long-time dedicated members of the Vernon Flying Club which they joined for fellowship & new friends, learning experiences, and to contribute their service and knowledge.
