Meet Kensie Hewson. She is one of the newest pilots at the Vernon Flying Club. Kensie recently finished training for her Recreational Pilot Permit at Aurora Aviation Academy at the Vernon airport. At 16, she is a bit too young to qualify for her Private Pilot License, but that is the next achievement she hopes for. Ultimately, Kensie says she will fly commercially for her livelihood.
